This Saturday, we head back north again for our second visit to Bishops Cleeve this season.
'The Mitres' currently sit in 14th place in the league table on 31 points. They could be described as having yo-yoed up and down mid-table this season, never quite consistently challenging at the top but not falling too far either. Their form has slipped a little in the last four games having lost three and drawn one of the previous games. A run that has seen them slip down the table somewhat. Their last game was a 2-0 defeat away at Malvern.
It would be no surprise to learn that we sit at the foot of the form guide at this time but as the old adage goes, the only way is up! Another disappointing loss on Tuesday did have some positive moments (as there has been in the last 3-4 games) but we really need to be turning these moments into goals and match winning situations. But... Kayte Lane has not been a happy hunting ground for Rovers in the past two seasons; losing 2-1 in the league last season and a heavy 6-1 defeat there this season in the FA Trophy on a blisteringly hot September afternoon.
This fixture will be tough, but the squad is looking good injury wise. David O'Hare remains a long term absentee but Martin Lenihan could be inline for a start having made a second half appearance on Tuesday and Dan McBeam should have shaken off his injury.
Lets get behind the team as we go into the final stages of the season!
