This Saturday, we go south as we visit Bashley FC at The GlenMex Stadium!
Our hosts had a strong season last time out, finishing just shy of the play-off places. Surprisingly, this season has been somewhat different. After a good start, they have slipped down the table and sit just one position and four points above ourselves. Their previous six results have yielded three draws, two losses and and a 1-0 victory over Exmouth on Saturday.
Our previous encounter at The GlenMex Stadium ended in a 1-0 victory for Bashley in a very tight (and wet!) game that saw Ross Casey (Bashley's keeper) the Man of the Match after saving a penalty in amongst many great stops. Ironically, our boss, Toozey was in charge that day after John Rendell's departure days before.
Rovers will be itching to get back into action after the previous two games postponements*. The solid (if unlucky) performance against Tavistock should put some confidence back in for this tough and crucial fixture.
As per last Friday's news, Dan Restorick and Wayne Nderemani rejoin the squad and the extra time off has allowed Dan Cottle's injury time to heal so he will also be in contention.
There will be a coach for this fixture leaving the club at 10.30am. If you'd like to travel please leave your name on the list at the club. The fare is £12 for an adult, £6 for U16s.
Entry prices at Bashley are:
Adult - £10
Concession (65+ and Students) - £7
Children (8-16 yrs) - £3
Under-8s - FREE
