We make the trip to Devon on Saturday where we visit Tavistock AFC.
'The Lambs' had a strong season last time out, finishing just outside the play-off spots but its been very different this time. We have remarked a number of times on how this season has seen some eyebrow raising results and changes in form across the league. Tavistock are a clear example of this! They had a surprisingly slow start considering the form of the previous season, before a strong period that pushed them up towards the play-off spots and falling back again in recent weeks.
Their previous three results show the two sides of the team quite clearly. An incredible 6-2 win at home to Frome was followed by a 4-3 away win at Bishops Cleeve before a 5-1 defeat to Yate Town on Tuesday. Its very hard to predict which Tavistock will turn up! Nevertheless, with last season's top scorer, Liam Prynn, in the squad we are sure to be in for a tough time.
The points haven't been coming for ourselves despite some better performances in the last few weeks. Tuesday's 2-0 defeat to league leaders, Wimborne Town, was the third defeat on the bounce and the lack of chances created in those games will be a worry to Kyle Tooze as he prepares his squad.
Sam Pashen will be available again after missing the Wimborne game and Dan Restorick has made good progress with the injury sustained against Bristol Manor Farm and could feature.
There will be a coach for this fixture leaving the club at 10am. If you'd like to travel please leave your name on the list at the club. The fare is £12 for an adult, £6 for U16s.
