Fingers crossed the weather is good to us when we welcome Bishops Cleeve to The Winterfield Stadium on Saturday.
The visitors sit in 9th place in the Southern League Division One with 16 points from 12 games. They come into the game having drawn their previous three matches; these being against Malvern, Bristol Manor Farm and Bashley.
The previous meeting between the clubs was back in September in the FA Trophy. The 6-1 victory for Bishops Cleeve that scorching day will highlight just what a strong opposition they will be and Rovers will need to be at their best to get a result.
Rovers come into the game in some form having won their two previous (full) games and scoring seven goals in the process so it should be a cracker!
Along with the news that Joe Paradise has re-signed (see the preview for the postponed Bridgwater game), Dan McBeam and Leo Eglin have been reintegrated back into the squad.
Manager, Kyle Tooze, had this to say before the game: "Obviously its frustrating not playing for two weeks but this has given us chance to work on a few things and what myself, Dennis and Matty expect, with the high standards we have set."
Please keep an eye on social media as more rain is expected.
