We take a break from league matters on Saturday as we focus on the start of our FA Vase campaign. We welcome Torridgeside AFC of the South West Peninsula League Premier Division East to The Winterfield Stadium.

Our visitors currently sit in 14th place in their league having had a difficult start to the campaign. However they can boast a victory over Bovey Tracey and a draw with Stoke Gabriel & Torbay Police in their last two results. In the previous round of the FA Vase they defeated Newquay AFC by two goals to one.

A rocky performance on Saturday against Buckland Athletic was followed by a much improved display against Clevedon Town on Tuesday evening. Although we grabbed a draw we arguably could have gone on to win the game with a bit more composure in front of goal. Hopefully we can go the extra step on Saturday!
