Rovers will be looking for their third straight win when Wellington AFC visit The Winterfield Stadium on Saturday.

Wellington sit in 11th spot in the table, one place behind ourselves and with an identical record. An opening day victory against Ilfracombe was followed by a defeat at Nailsea & Tickenham. A win away at Brixham was them followed by defeat at Barnstaple. Their most recent games were a 1-1 draw with Bideford in the FA Cup but losing the replay on Tuesday evening.

A hard fought win against Shepton Mallet followed by a more free flowing football against Hamworthy Recreation on Sunday has shown that our new look squad is starting to gel. Certainly the team is in a good place as anyone on the coach on Sunday will attest! The squad on Sunday was a little thin which gave the chance for three players from our incredible U18 team to gain some experience. With senior players returning it remains to be seen exactly what team will turn out.
