On Sunday, we travel to Dorset and Hamworthy Recreation where we meet for the FA Cup Preliminary Round.

Our hosts play in the Velocity Wessex Premier League having been promoted at the end of last season from division one. They have played three times so far this season - a 2 - 0 win over Portland United in the previous round of the FA Cup, followed by two 1 - 1 draws with Wincanton Town and Cowes Sports. Unfortunately, their match on Tuesday with Christchurch was abandoned early in proceedings after a serious injury to their goalkeeper Callum Smalley. We understand he is now out of hospital and everyone at Paulton Rovers wishes him well with his recovery.

For ourselves, we will be looking to continue the form from our victory over Shepton Mallet on Tuesday evening. Despite being under pressure in the early stages we worked back into the game and took the lead. The second half saw us put pressure onto Shepton for longer periods and we should arguably had a third. Should be a good confidence boost going into this one!

We will be running a coach to Hamworthy Rec leaving the club at 9.30am. The fare will be £13 for adults, £12 for club members and under 18s £6. Please add your name to the list in the club if you'd like to travel. Spaces will be limited.
