Paulton's won their final Somerset Floodlit Youth League against Keynsham Town as champions of Division One North.
Keynsham started brightly belying their lowly league position, but Sam Stoppard who has played several times for Paulton's first team in the Evostik Southern League hit a well struck shot pushed away for a corner by Town keeper Joe Jackson.
The only goal came from the penalty spot on 31 minutes with Nathan Maggs converting after Alfie Dix was brought down bearing down on goal.
Rovers nearly add to their tally on 56 minutes captain Harvey Hadrill drilled a well struck ball out to Jordan Phillips on the right wing. His low cross was met by Liam Sweenie bringing a great save from Jackson.
Jackson then stopped a stinging shot from Harry McLachlan and from Sam Stoppard in swinging ring wing corner the ball hit the crossbar.
In the final minutes man of the match Jackson saved from Alfie Dix then Connor Liddeard.
After the game the league chairman Les Jordan and secretary Richard Sloane presented the championship trophy.
The team, parents and supporters will be attending the club's annual presentation night and buffet in the clubhouse this Saturday from 7-30 p.m.
