The AGM was due to be held next Thursday on the 1st of October 2020, unfortunately due to the current government legislation on COVID-19, it is not legal for us to hold an open AGM, also our constitution does not permit us to hold a virtual or a zoom AGM and to carry out such a meeting would need an EGM to change the Constitution to permit this.

There was only one Director election proposed at this meeting and as there were no other nominations, Robert Filer is duly elected to run for a period of three years again, further more the clubs accountants King Watkins have audited the clubs accounts and they have been approved by the Directors.

We find ourselves in unprecedented times and as such have no alternative but to postpone this AGM, however it is our intentions once restrictions have been lifted to hold an EGM to conclude the business of the postponed AGM.

We trust our members will understand what a difficult situation we find ourselves in that this is a reasonable proposal.
