On Tuesday night, Paulton Rovers new manager Ray Johnston met with the directors and the officials who help out within the club.

One familiar face was former midfielder Elliott Gibbons who returns to the club as player/coach and Ray’s assistant.

The management have been busy assembling their squad in advance of training starting on Tuesday.

Supporters will be pleasantly surprised with a number of familiar faces both old and new who enjoyed an evening of pool & darts with a bit of food and team bonding.

Players however cannot be signed on until 4th July.

In the meanwhile the club are seeking to appoint a new sports therapist or physio following the retirement of long serving Everett Welch.

We are looking to add to our pre-season schedule with an away game on either 2nd or 5th July.

The Jewson Western League Premier Division season kicks off at 3-00 pm on Saturday 27th July with a home game against Nailsea & Tickenham FC.
